Disillusioned by the standard, quality and cost of water filtration products available on the market Tony decided it was time to “re-invent the wheel” and by combining his passion for engineering and Koi Carp embarked on a journey with a clear vision and over a number of years toiled tirelessly to invent and develop the first prototypes of the highly effective OrbsMedia technology found in the Elite Filtration delivery systems today.

Initially Tony developed the patent pending OrbsMedia technology and delivery systems for his own purposes but such was the success of the initial prototypes that very quickly, customers of Tony’s Koi Carp business noticed the exceptional water quality he was enjoying and so enquired where they could buy the filtration system used and so in the summer of 2012 Elite Filtration Systems was established to great customer acclaim, satisfaction and the rest as they say is history.
Since 2012 the business has developed and grown significantly with an exceptional team of personnel being assembled to continue to develop the business into exciting new markets and opportunities, but never forgetting the core values of the business which is to produce exceptional products, service and outstanding water quality through a process of continual innovation.

Tony Yellen
CEO & FOUNDER
Tony has been passionate about Koi Carp most of his life. Tony is well versed in the procurement, transport and retailing of Koi Carp. Tony is widely recognized for his work on Koi Carp Health and wellbeing. Tony runs fish surgeries and fish husbandry workshops and is the "go to" man for ornamental fish help and guidance. Tony is a reference point for all things relating to Koi.
